Rational number

the number of the form a/b,where a and b are integer and b is not equal to zero ,are called rational number

Example-Each of the numbers 5/8,-3/14,-7/15 and -6/-11

positive rational number:-A rational number is said to be positive if its numerator and denumerator are either both positive or both negative.
thus,4/9 and -5/-12 are both positive rationals.

Negative rational number:-A rational number is said to be negative if its numerator or denumerator are opposite signs.
thus,-4/9 and 5/-12 are both negative rationals.

Three properties of rational number:-
