parallel plate capcitor:-

• It is made of two parallel plate (rectangular,square,circular).
• The Size of plate is very large as compair to Distance between plate,it is because of the finite plate can be assumbed as infinite plate so that the electric field Between plate will be uniform .
• In case of parallel plate capacitor the electric field will be non-uniform near the edge of plate this is known as frizing effect.

In case of parallel capacitor the charge on inner surface of positive plate is known as charge of capacitor
