Antibody[Ab]

• Antibody is glycoprotein or immunoglobulin[Ig] and ⋎-globulin
  
• Antibody is also termed as H2L2 means antibody consists of two heavy chain and two light chain of polypeptide[in antibody four poloypeptide chain].
• In the structure of antibody variable region is present its variability is according to the specific autigen.
• In variable region complementry sequence for autigen are present where specific autigen bind and this region is named as autigen building site or paratope.
• Rest other past of the antibody consist of constant region.
• Heavy chain & light chain are connected by disulphide linkage.

Antigen(Ag)

Autigen-Autibody  reaction -

Antibody binds with its specific autigens and perform:-

• Agglutination:-blood gets Agglutinated which slows down the movement of autigen.
• Precipitation :- Antibody binds with antigen &  precipitate its.
• Neutralisation:- Antibody neutralises the antigen or toxicity of antigen.

Opsonisation:- Antibody gathers around the autiger and opsonises it,also actiration of complementry system is done which how phagocytically kills the antigen.

Iysis :-Antigen-antibody ineraction facilitates of lysis of autiger.
