Solution

Given that

2^(x+6) =8^(x+1)

(2^x)(2^6)=(8^x) (8^1)

(2^x) ×64=(2^3x)× 8

(2^3x)/2^x=64/8

2^2x=8

2^2x=2^3

Base is same so remove base.

2x=3

x=3/2
