In triangle ABC,right-angled at B, AB = 24 cm, BC = 7 cm.Determine:(i) sin A, cos A (ii) sin C,cos C

Solution:- let us first draw a right angle triangle ABC.

Given in triangle

AB = 24 cm,

BC = 7 cm

Now by using the pythagores Theorem ,we have 

AC^2=AB^2+BC^2

AC=√(AB^2+BC^2)

AC=√{(24 cm)^2+(7cm)^2}

 AC= √(576cm^2+49cm^2)

AC= √(625 cm^2)

AC= 25 cm

According to Question,

 (i) sin A= (BC/AC)=(7/25)

 cos A=(AB/AC)=(24/25)

(ii) sin C =(AB/AC)=(7/25)

cos C=(BC/AC)=(24/25)
