चूँकि Sn=210
इसीलिए, (n/2)[a+an]=210
⇒(n/2)[8+62]=210
⇒ n[8+62]=210×2
⇒ n×70=210×2
⇒ n=(210×2)/70
⇒ n=3×2
⇒ n=6
यहाँ an=62
या a6=62
⇒a+5d=62
⇒8+5d=62
⇒5d=62-8
⇒5d=54
⇒d=(54/5)
अतः n=6 और d=(54/5) है।
